  Domlur KP School trip to Lalbhagh Flower Show, an annual grand event of exotic flowers in Bangalore 134 students from our Domlur KPS Gov High School visited Lalbhagh flower show…an RBE sponsored trip.  Thank you all for your support

On the happy occasion of Dusshera, today (5/10/22) our Treasurer of Rotary Bangalore East , Rtn Stephen Paul Maddali, handed over essential groceries to some BPL families.  The cost of the items, were donated by Rtn N J Menon Sir. RBE wishes to sincerely thank Rtn Menon Sir, for his continued generosity every month, towards various projects.

 A speaker session was conducting by Periferry Foundation on awareness and being an alley with LGBT+ community  Organised by Rtn Krishnan and attended by RBE rotarians   

 On 9th Sept , our secretary Rajesh Kumar as part of community and support to the under privileged donated groceries to Vatsalya Old Age Home in Jeevan Bheema Nagar

  Domlur school bench 5th Sept :  Teacher’s day , we officially handed over 40 desks and benches to Domlur primary School. Now on many of the school kids don’t have to sit on the floor, and can comfortably sit and enable them to study better. We want to thank President Shivkumar Kumar for getting this from Cauvery School and Rtn NandaKumar for graciously sponsoring the shipping for the benches and desks. RBE’s Teacher’s Day celebrations and poetry competition price distribution at Domlur Gov High School  As a chief guest today we were honored to have Dr Subramanyam Sharma ( grandson of our Sri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan).  This event started on  Friday,Sept 2nd with announcements in classrooms and setting guidelines, topic and structure for the competition  Saturday,Sep 3rd all students participated in writing poetry on topic “Teacher”.. In one of 3 languages Kannada, Hindi or English . With all teachers and principal support over 150 enthusiastic students wrote their thoughts and lines competitively.. On Sunday some of the notable and eligible ones were chosen from all submissions for prices. Monday,5th Sept, on the occasion of Teacher’s day, certificates and prices were awarded for poetry competition winners, by the chief guest Dr Subramanyam Sharma.  Rotary Bangalore East  had the Eco Ganesha workshop   in Domlur Government School ground.  The workshop was conducted by Ann Bhuvana Krishnan(w/o YSD Rtn Krishnan) with help from Ms Amrutha and Ms Keerthana.  Arranged and organised by Rtn Krishnan with the help and support of President Shivkumar and sponsor from DLRWA .  In presents of Mr Narayanan , Ms Geetha and Mrs Anitha . Nearly 180 students from both school, PU and degree college took active and enthusiastic participation. Lots of expressive creativity and joy prevailed throughout the workshop. Apart from students many others participated as well I want to thank DLRWA for pitching in and Mrs Bhuvana for conducting this event.
