RBE facilitates meeting of Cure International's CEO and 2 of its Directors with our DG Asha Prasanna Kumar at Tumkur on Saturday, 9th Sep 2017




President Rtn. Sudhir B Deshmukh, Rtn. V Krishnamoorthy and Rtn. Sreeshan visited Indira Gandhi Hospital on Friday 8thSept. 2017 where CLUB FOOT treatments were being conducted. Every Friday about 60 to 70 affected children are treated for feet deformity.


On Saturday 10th Sept 2017 President Rtn. Sudhir B Deshmukh arranged a special meeting of Cure International’s officials (who came from USA and New Delhi, India and Bangalore and wanted to meet DG) with DG RID 3190 Rtn. Asha Prasanna Kumar at her home in Tumkur.


This meeting was attended by Rtn. Sudhir B Deshmukh, Rtn. V Krishnamoorthy and Annet Atharva on behalf of RBE.


The purpose of this meeting was to start a Club Foot Treatment Centre / Clinic at Tumkur on urgent basis so that the affected children from in and around Tumkur can be treated. Cure International also has a plan to set up all India Doctor’s training centre and Special Shoes manufacturing facility at Tumkur.


Dr. Santhosh George gave a detailed presentation to DG on How CLUB FOOT Project is working pan India successfully and how thousands of children are benefited of CLUB FOOT treatment and leading a normal life today. DG Asha Prasanna Kumar was very impressed and has assured her full support from RID 3190 to take this project forward throughout Karnataka.


As you are aware RBE is the only club associated with CLUB FOOT Project from the past 10 years.

Sweaters, Blankets, Study Mats, Energy Drink, Bed sheets & Clothes to the children of Louisa Children’s Home

  On 9/11/22 on behalf of Rotary Bangalore East,  Past President Rtn Stephen Paul Maddali and Ann Vipanchika , handed over Sweaters, Blankets, Study Mats, Energy Drink, Bed sheets & Clothes to the children of Louisa Children’s Home.  The children were very happy to receive them.  The sweaters were donated by  Rtn Nanada Kumar Reddy . The blankets, study mats and the juice was sponsored by Mrs & Col KJC Jeldo and the bed sheets and the clothes were donated by Mrs Deepti Sidhartha & Mrs Hebsiba Doss.  RBE wishes to thank all the donors for their generosity. RBE : Monthly Grocery distribution for Nov 2022

  As part of RBE's flagship project of monthly grocery distribution for the month of Dec , we distributed nearly 50 grocery bags with essentials to sustain for  monthly for a family. Thanks to Rtn PP V. Krishnamoorthy , President Shivakumar, Rtn. Krishnan , Rotaract President Madan Groceries to a value of about Rs40k was sponsored senior club members.
